Shower systems from Duschdor are simple, plain, elegant and tailored to individual customer needs. This company philosophy is also to be underlined with a practical and intuitive configurator.
In order to offer your customers an attractive tool for visualizing individually configured showers, the company Duschdor has developed a 3D shower configurator together with Sitewerk.
Configuration process
The configurator guides the user logically step by step through the design process. The configuration process starts with the customer's installation situation. Various initial situations such as corner, niche, corner with bathtub, bathtub and their respective subcategories are available for selection. In the next step, the size of the shower area can be entered with millimeter precision in this parametric model and the 3D model is immediately adjusted.
If required, the user has the choice to individualize a glass back panel (X-possibilities for color or image selection, even an own image is possible). This is an important factor to offer the customer a wide choice for individualization, which is more and more expected by consumers nowadays.
In further steps, the fittings, doors, design series, handles, etc. are selected, in order to receive an automatically generated offer including parts list at the end. Through the visualization in 3D, the customer can view his future shower from different sides, animate ( door open and close) and imagine exactly.
It is also possible to interrupt a configuration and resume it at a later time (via code/configuration number).
Technologies
The proven 3D viewer from ShapeDiver was also used for this project. The viewer is embedded directly into the React application.
